STAYBRIDGE SUITES MILWAUKEE WEST-OCONOMOWOC NOW OPEN!
OFFICIAL RIBBON CUTTING AND GALA SHOWCASES PABST FARMS'
NEWEST EXTENDED-STAY HOTEL
Staybridge Suites is an all-suite hotel brand designed to meet the needs of extended-stay guests. Ideal for travelers seeking a residential-style hotel while away from home, the hotel is ideal for long visits, business travel, relocation and vacations. The new hotel is located in the 1,500 acre Pabst Farms master-planned community, midway between Milwaukee and Madison just off of I-94 and US Hwy 67. The property is directly across the street from the new Aurora Medical Center at Pabst Farms which is scheduled to open early 2010.
"The location of this new hotel is ideal because of its close proximity to the new hospital, several businesses, and mid-way between Madison and Milwaukee," said Traci Sherman, general manager. "We are uniquely designed to cater to those who plan to stay for longer periods of time while traveling for business, as well as leisure guests visiting the area."
"Despite these challenging times, Pabst Farms continues to attract quality businesses like Staybridge Suites that will serve the needs of the surrounding community and the new Aurora Medical Center at Pabst Farms," said Peter Bell, president of Pabst Farms Development Inc.
"Both of these projects will bring positive momentum in terms of jobs and economic benefits to the area."
The grand opening celebration showcased the Oconomowoc High School Choir and Orchestra, which delivered a special performance before the official commencement and ribbon cutting, and also raised funds throughout the evening for their 2010 spring performance trip to Florida. In support of the High School Performing Arts program, Pabst Farms also made a generous contribution during the hotel grand opening reception.
"Our community is really fortunate to have a nationally recognized high school orchestra, choir and band program," added Peter Bell. "These students work very hard, and Pabst Farms is proud to showcase their efforts at our latest hotel grand opening and to offer financial support."
Additionally, the Staybridge Suites brand supports Give Kids the World, an organization whose mission is to fulfill the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses. Hartland's very own "Princess Alyssa" was on property to help generate awareness and funds for the organization. The hotel also matched funds raised by the Give Kids the World organization during the reception.
Guests of the grand opening event toured the five-story property, which features three well-designed spacious suite options (deluxe studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom/two-bath). All suites include in-room DVD/CD players; functional, well-lit work stations with ergonomic seating, speaker phones with direct-dial, personal voice mail and complimentary local phone calls; and fully equipped kitchens.
Consistent with the Staybridge Suites brand, the new property offers exceptional guest amenities including a deluxe complimentary daily breakfast buffet featuring Wolfgang Puck coffee; complimentary guest laundry and workout facilities; a complimentary 24-hour business center; 500 square feet of meeting space; a guest library with books and games; and BridgeMart®, the hotel's 24-hour convenience store stocked with snacks, sundries, beverages and easy-to-prepare meals. Guests can enjoy the hotel's heated, indoor pool and whirlpool, complimentary parking, and an outdoor courtyard with putting green and barbecue Pavilion.
The hotel's Great Room hosts evening "Sundowner" receptions three days a week with complimentary refreshments and appetizers. The hotel features the brand's "Just Like Home Theater" complete with a 60" plasma HDTV, surround-sound and comfortable, overstuffed chairs. Guests at Staybridge Suites Milwaukee West can get Internet connectivity throughout the hotel with complimentary "Wireless Anywhere."
"We're very pleased to welcome this property to our swiftly growing family of upscale extended-stay hotels," said Robert Radomski, vice president, Global Brand Management, Extended-Stay Brands, IHG. "This is the second Staybridge Suites to open this year in the Milwaukee market, and we're pleased to have a hotel located in an exciting and forward-thinking development like Pabst Farms."
